Kernel Summit 2008

The Kernel Summit brings together the world’s leading developers on the Linux kernel for a face-to-face meeting aimed at working out the plan for the next development cycle. Just as year’s past, this invitation-only, two day event, will deliver sessions and workshops where core developers and industry leaders can readily share and exchange ideas, thus creating development and innovation in the Linux community.

The Kernel Summit was launched in 2000 and initiated by leading Kernel Developer Ted Ts'o, who has remained the Program Chair since the event’s inception.

The 2008 Kernel Summit will be held September 15-16 in Portland, OR.
